Basically if you're not holding back the trigger, the slide goes forward just fine but if you hold the trigger, then the slide will catch (i presume on the trigger bar thing) and it holds it until you release the trigger, in which case the slide pops forward just fine. 5 # connector polished everything I cut 1 coil off of the plunger spring moved the trigger spring up on the trigger bar I am still useing the stock recoil spring and striker spring. Since he apparently doesn't have a firing pin safety spring problem then my best guess is that his connector has too much outward angle on it. I think the hole on the frame trigger housing is drilled a bit low. I was thinking if the spring is installed incorrectly then it doesn't provide enough spring tension to push down the slide stop and it might bounce up and lock up the slide when the gun is not empty. When I say it won't go back into battery I mean when I hand cycle the slide and let it down easy. Glock - returns to battery poorly after dissasembly. At this point, I would try it with a couple of different practice ammo. Check this spring in the slide.
