While she had a chance to show how broken her character is, a little more than she could in Encounter, the series was a rejig of old K-drama tropes and served nothing new, becoming rather predictable and staid. Later, Oh-soo falls in love with her, of course. Together, they rescue refugees, battle bomb blasts, operate on Prime Ministers and survive earthquakes, and somehow manage to have an enthralling romance. I already have my favorite actors and actresses; albeit, I don't know their names. The final segment of the finale episode starting with Boss Kim insinuating Jin Sung's family was in danger was too complicated for its own good, really. This is a happy ending. What really happened? It was a rather strange story as she reciprocates his feelings later—but it was one of her best roles. We had to believe his loving treatment of Young wasn't just to get her in his good graces, but that he's truly fallen in love with her. Kim Bum's been a talented and always solid actor. DOTS stretched the limits of believability in every possible way and showed heart-warming nuances of Song Joongki's Yoo Si-jin, but somewhat failed to give Song Hye-kyo the same character development. The SBS drama series' ratings win against its more hyped competitors was a testament to its great writing and excellent performances. And Jo In Sung was able to do that. He is soooo tall and handsome but sadly, he has a girlfriend. Song Hye Kyo commanded the series. The show was a bittersweet slow burn of a romance, but Song Hye-kyo once again, was fading to the sidelines despite being the main lead. In one of the most emotional dialogues of the show, she hits back asking why he hasn't asked about her eyesight. Jo In Sung – I love him in this drama! In this empty world, could I not become your last reason to live? Could I become the same to you? In Sung, you can trick me into falling in love with you anytime.
I'm glad this drama granted me my wish! It is currently one of the most popular k-drama. And yet, it all still felt satisfying. Love is either a memory or a blessing. But to get to the point where we care whether or not these characters live or die speaks to how well the story developed and made us care for them. Where is there love that will go on without being shaken?
It's the story for die-hard romantics—an army officer falls in love with a strong-willed doctor while they're stationed in some fictional Mediterranean city. Wondering just how Oh Soo and Oh Young would get their happy ending. I love the house, snow and the greenhouse very much. He now really cares for her and not just the money. She still has a gorgeous face since Full House! And Bae Jong Ok as Secretary Wang and Kim Tae Woo as Moo Chul both faced similar challenges to make their characters sympathetic and somewhat rootable despite the seemingly horrible things they've done. "You are telling me that I am cruel, when you return after so many years and don't even ask what happened to me? You just need to be in a drama. She eventually finds out who he is and was surprisely antonishment but not shock or terrify. You're able to feel her joy as well as feel her pain. I conclude that it was a happy ending. Here it is now though 🙂 I promise it is SUPER loaded with pictures!! And several times during those final two episodes, it really did seem like everyone was either going to get killed (stabbed, most likely) or kill themselves. Soo apparently letting Young believe he was dead for a year.
You needed that sincerity to understand her relationship with Secretary Wang and you need that sincerity to understand her relationship with Oh Soo, the two main threads of the series. But what that sequence did do though was blur the events of the previous 15 and a half episodes. He definitely heats up the winter landscape! Your full knowledge of the situation was not enough to dissuade any of the borderline incestuous innuendo. This drama made it to top 10 in 2013. He really acted very well especially in those cry scenes and it make me wanted to cry along with him.
