This course was my favourite of the semester. I found it to be a very interesting class. Made most of the material very interesting and comfortable for everyone. I would definitely take another class with this professor again! Also if you are stuck with some of the questions, there is always someone from the class to ask in the Discussions section. QSB package is very interesting and friendly. If you did the reading, the lecture was basically pointless. Readings Web site material was appropriates, relevant and useful. The instructor clearly had an interest in what he was studying/teaching and that translated into interesting lectures given by an enthusiastic teacher. So I no longer judge how my lecture is going by students' apparent reactions to it. They seem so intuitive. An instructor whose lecture style is fairly boring is a list. I really like Professor Vasey's teaching style. However, once I settled in the pace of this class, I understood the importance of all these exercises. This class was extremely interesting and well taught! It is the 5th course I have taken at UB and so far is the most valuable. The text and reading materials provided good support for the required work. Vasey is an amazing instructor and his knowledge of the subject matter really made the class interesting and well worth the money paid. I did not even buy the book, but study lecture notes and course notes on the web. This latter point, I believe, is crucial. This is a class in which you must keep up to date on the course material or you will fall behind. You have truly been an encouragement and inspiration. The university needs more classes like this! This class is by-far my favourite class that is offered at the University. This time, I usually captured all the important points. I learned a lot and talk about this class all the time (I think my friends have been getting a little annoyed). Anyone can make a decision, but a good manager makes decisions based on supported facts. Some professors were fantastic in the lecture hall, they knew how to command respect and how to work such a big lecture hall. I do feel freer to ask questions.
If you are in need for some. You can do it and you will enjoy this class. He puts up overheads, and lectures by talking into a corner. I have always maintained that college gives you a good background, but you need business experience to learn the practical side. Very interesting class! I was not sure how this would work being that seeing someone does the problems usually helps in the understanding. He makes it embarrassing for students that speak while class is in session, but it's very effective in discouraging anyone else from talking. One not-so-great lecture that stands out in my mind was delivered by a young psychologist I was asked to peer-observe. Responsive, respectful and engaging, Professor Arsham possesses the perfect mixture of sensitivity and intellect to inspire students to achieve. By the time I got to graduate school, the overhead transparency had emerged as the cool, cutting-edge technology. A class like this really opens up people's perspectives to some sensitive topics and I feel like everyone would benefit form this kind of thing. Instead, I gave them a detailed handout that contained everything I was planning to say during the lecture. We learned the concepts involved in making good decisions. Our course, the course material is being used by other universities all over the world, professionally, as an aspiring Scientist, this is a reassurance that the University of Baltimore MBA program is of international caliber and offers the student a broad range of classes and programs including a top notch program.
