Final question is whether or not walnut shells or corn cob media is good for normal, every day, type cleaning. Cases are like new when done. This is where we get the most lead exposure and the least amount of recognition of the issue! Corn cobs are a gentle abrasive that will not damage your rocks. The one thing I've found is that I like the really fine walnut ALOT better than the coarser stuff.
