Hard turns may still push oil all the way out the tube, due to pressure in the valve cover. After the leak down test I assumed that the oil issue was because the oil was burning, but I wasn't seeing smoke coming from the bike. When the car was moving fast enough, lower air pressure below the car would draw air in through the breather and out through the end of the tube.
