With her artistic talents and knowledge of human anatomy, Keira becomes both detective and suspect when a fellow houseguest is murdered. I really enjoy the "Lay Hardcastle Mysteries" and recommend them to anyone who is looking for a gentle and well written series. Margaret traveled the world, remained unmarried, and pursued a fulfilling life in her own way. Something is rotten, that's for sure. And I really liked the story in Rotten. Far behind her racing their car and letting people think she is a frivolous. Toss in a murder investigation, and you get a tightly-crafted mystery, a vividly-drawn multicultural setting, and a plucky heroine fiercely taking on the challenges of her time. I kind of want them to get there sooner rather than later but that does speak to how great these characters would be on an international stage.
