More-than-average pulling power will be required if you regularly get STUCK stuck, or if you ride with buddies who have machines much heavier than yours—you never know when they'll need a helping hand. Always be sure that at least five (5) full turns of winch cable are wrapped around the winch drum at all times. Winch goes out but not in charge. If the clutch pad in your winch is bonded to the large gear, you can replace just that gear. You're going to ground the casing as you would on any other motor and use a bolt that will hook up our ground. If the voltmeter reads 12 volts, then the solenoid is not working properly.
