"Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, ' You did not make me'? Don't be ashamed of your scars, of the deep crevices that line your soul, or the broken places of your life. We can be tempted to hold onto some of the loss and pain, but He needs all of it to create the life He envisions for us. The One who made us can restore and reshape us. God, the master Kintsugi artist, will make you even more beautiful - thanks to the scars! He takes the broken pieces and makes them beautiful people. In fact, brokenness touched my life in profound ways early on in my life. The beauty is a testament to our faith and demonstration to believers and unbelievers alike. Because of Jesus, there can always be beauty in brokenness. Whatever it is, we step back, gaze, and say "That is a Masterpiece". For instance, you could rip up a piece of paper or break up a few sticks. And the uniqueness adds to its beauty. The problem with putting the pieces back together is that once the pieces were fitted where they were to begin with, they provide an appearance of wholeness yet are still fractured.
We may see a pile of worthless ruins, but God sees what those ruins become when we find faith in Him. So, God has given us apostles, prophets, pastors, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers to equip His people for works of service… to the fullness of Christ" Eph 4:9-16.
