And so it's just really helpful to say, "You know, we are a major investor in your company, this is something that we see as material, it's something we see as important" and to have that discussion. All right, George, so I put embracing complexity on the docket. But before we do, and just again, thinking about your whole kind of process, philosophy, are there times where you feel like your approach has really been tested by the market? So you know, whether it's a first derivative or a secondary derivative impact, climate really has its tentacles across all industries. Thinking about of short-termism, which I think is a recurring theme that we could also address in season two. But thank you so, so much for all your time, Nicole. I always thought I was going to be in equities and an equities analyst or investor, but rotated around in fixed income. We used to work together back in our investment consulting days, and then I left the field of investment and went and did the startup thing for a while. It stresses on me the need to be vigilant, the need to monitor what is going on with these businesses all the time and to stay ahead of the ability to maintain and manage the pricing power. There were definitely a lot from the past along the way.
It's not like if they just wanted to, they could become this carbon-free business just by turning a switch. But I did come across an article a long time ago that I do always go back to every once in a while. It helped me rethink how we advocate for systems thinking, maybe using more of a kind of bottom-up approach rather than, or not just using a top-down approach. Nicole Zatlyn: Yeah, I think that probably the biggest one, especially with the benefit of hindsight, is that you know, whether or not we protect what we have here on this earth, or we go ahead and destroy it completely depends on who was setting strategy. I hope you took something away from that conversation. I think from a climate perspective, the E perspective, you know, climate is the biggest risk, and also this incredible opportunity for all businesses. I think that Mahesh phrased it as don't just copy and paste. You might have a weakness in one area, you're trying to engage on that, but also recognize the potential of the other area. Because frankly, I guess what I would say is that two plus two can be five.
Is that much harder than just using a backward-looking screened approach? And so these dialogues are really robust. It has a really strong distribution, and has invested a lot, has paid a lot of attention to their innovation engine. So, we see market leaders who have to scale in certain markets being stocked by distributors all through that market tend to see higher market shares lead into high margins. The next step for us, just given even how MFS are built on this global research platform that is designed into different sector teams to develop deep nuance, context specific experience and expertise on those companies. I've had the benefit of being involved over the last 10 years in growing the platform. It had its dedicated analysts and obviously our stewardship team. Being able to draw from different areas of knowledge brings a lot to the table, and you can get two plus two equals five. It was eye-opening for me, and it was the complexity and the diversity of the asset class that I fell in love with.
