Hot car seems to have started my issue as well. Most of us simply have a dark DIC during the day, but it turns on fine when its dark, even at -40 outside. Meaning its related to the sensor circuit. It has not failed in the six months since I repaired it. On some models, you will have to center your vehicle in the lane before seeing the Super Cruise symbol appear.
Not likely that this module could be disassembled and fixed, so I just experimented with placing pressure in various places on the module.
